Activity reminders help you keep track of activities with past due reminders and unconfirmed activities. Activity reminders are based on the activity and alarm options selected in your user options. When you have active reminders the Reminders button on the menu bar is highlighted.
The top part of the view is a list of activities with past due reminders and unconfirmed activities. The list includes information such as activity type, reminder type, start time, and name. Unconfirmed activities appear with bold text. You can complete, delete or reschedule activities, or snooze and dismiss activity reminders. You can also view a selected activity in greater detail in the lower part of the view. From the detail pane, you can accept or decline unconfirmed activities.
Understanding Past Due and Unconfirmed Activities
An activity is considered past due when the scheduled start time has expired. If an activity is past due and has an alarm it displays in the Activity Reminders list as an "Alarm" until the alarm is dismissed. Once the past due activity alarm is dismissed, the activity displays as Past Due until it is completed, deleted or rescheduled for a future date and time. Past Due activities only appear in the list if the Display All Past Due check box is selected.
An unconfirmed activity is an activity notification that you need to confirm or decline. Unconfirmed activities do not appear on your calendar and you are not reminded when an unconfirmed activity is about to start.

A maximum of 200 records can display at one time. If there are more than 200 records, additional records will display as they are snoozed or dismissed. |
