Changing a Password (Administrator)

You can change a user's password in the Users view and through User Options. Once you have made the changes you want, you must log off, and then log back in for changes to take effect.

To change a password in User Options

  1. Click Options on the menu bar.
  2. Click the Password tab, and select the user you want in the list provided.
  3. Enter the new password.
  4. Reenter the new password in the Confirm Password field.
  5. Click Save. A message appears stating the password successfully changed.
  6. You must log out of the Sage SalesLogix Web Client and then log in again before your options changes take effect.

To change a password in the Users view

  1. On the Navigation Bar, click Administration.
  2. Click Users and click the appropriate user name.
  3. In the User Detail view, click the Change Password button.

  2. In the User box, select the user whose password you want to change.

    This option only displays for the Administrator user.

  3. Type the new password in the New Password and Confirm Password boxes.
  4. Click OK.
