Adding or Editing
Response Information
Use this dialog box to update response information. Responses keep track of interactions with a contact or lead. The response will appear in the Responses tabs for the Detail views.
To add or edit
- Open the Add Response or Edit Response dialog box.
- From the Contact, Lead or Account Detail view, click the Responses or Marketing tab. If the tab is not visible, click the More Tabs tab.
- Do one of the following:
- To add a response click the Add Response button or in the grid change the target 's Status to Responded.
- Find the response that you want to update, and then click Edit.
- Select the Contact or Lead option.
- Depending on your selection in step 2, click the Find
button next to Contact or Lead, and use the Find dialog box to locate the appropriate record.
- If necessary, click the Campaign Find
button to find a campaign. Your selection is added to the dialog box.
- If you specified a campaign, click the Stage drop-down arrow and select from the list.
- Click the Lead Source Find
button to find a lead source. Your selection is added to the dialog box.
- Click the Status ellipsis
button and select an item from the list.
- Click the Response Date Calendar/Time
button to select a date, and then click OK..
- Click the Response Methodellipsis
button and select an item from the list.
- Click the Interest ellipsis
button to select a description for how the contact or lead responded.
- Click the Interest Level ellipsis
button to indicate how interested the contact or lead is.
- In the Comments box, type any notes.
- Click the Products tab to view products associated to the response, or click Add Product
to find and add a product.
- Click the Clicks tab to see if the contact or lead clicked on any links.
- Click the Opens tab to see if the contact or lead has opened a Marketing Services e-mail.
- Click the Undeliverable tab to see if any Marketing Services e-mail messages sent to the contact or lead have been returned as undeliverable.
- Click OK.
