Once lead information has been qualified, a lead can be converted to a contact and account. The Convert Lead dialog box displays any contacts or accounts with matching information. Leads with matching information can be merged with an existing contact, added to an existing account, or the lead can be added as a new contact and account. You can change the filter criteria used to find matching records.

Sage SalesLogix can only search for duplicate records that you have permission to view. A duplicate record that you are not able to access may still exist. |
To convert a qualified lead
The Convert Lead view opens with lead information displayed at the top of the view and any matching contact and account information displayed below.
Select one of the following Options:
All of the leads activities, history and notes will associated with the new opportunity.
