Subscription and Security

Remote users only

You automatically subscribe to the accounts you create as long as you are the owner of the account. You are subscribed automatically to accounts you own as an individual, as a team owner, or privately. These accounts are "forced" subscribed, and you cannot override them with an unsubscription rule. Subscription and unsubscription rules can be managed in the Sage SalesLogix Client and Administrator.

If a user is assigned to an activity as a member, but the account is not in his or her database, the user is automatically subscribed to the account. The exception is if the user does not have access rights; in that case, the user receives notification of the activity, but is not subscribed to the account.

To subscribe to an account

  1. On the Navigation Bar, click What's New.
  2. Click the Accounts tab.
  3. Find the account you want to subscribe to, and click Subscribe.

You will receive updated information for this account during synchronization.

To unsubscribe from an account

  1. On the Navigation Bar, click What's New.
  2. Click the Accounts tab.
  3. Find the account to which you no longer want to subscribe, and click Unsubscribe.

You will no longer receive updated information for this account during synchronization.
