Removing a Product from a Sales Order

You can remove products from a sales order if a customer is no longer interested in the product, or the products were added by mistake. You can remove products from the Insert Sales Order dialog box or Sales Order Detail view. Deleting a product only removes the product's association with a particular sales order. The product is not deleted from the database.

To remove products from the Insert Sales Order dialog box

  1. In the Products grid, click Delete next to the product you want to delete.
  2. Click OK.

To remove products from the Sales Order Detail view

  1. Open the Sales Order Detail view, and then click the Products tab. If the tab is not visible, click the More Tabs tab.
  2. Click Delete for the product you want to remove, and then click OK to confirm the deletion.
